Bylaws Interpretation
A Professional Registered Parliamentarian can assist with the interpretation of bylaws.
Where there is a true ambiguity in the bylaws, each society decides for itself
the meaning, based on generally accepted principles of interpretation, in
accordance with the intent at the time the bylaw was adopted. A skilled
parliamentarian can assist with and facilitate this process, and offer wording
for a bylaws amendment that will incorporate the interpretation.
